Our People
LJ AIR has succeeded on the backs of our field technicians who provide honest, quality services to our clients. Our technicians are all factory trained with all main manufacturers of HVAC/R systems, both commercial and domestic. This focus gives our team the technical edge on our competitors and sets us apart from others in the industry.
Our pride reflects in our staff training, with many of our apprentices achieving qualified status throughout their apprenticeship with LJ AIR.

These principals have guided us in completing critical projects across national and international government agencies and mining sites across Australia. Our cutting-edge solutions in operation, engineering and performance also helped us to assist in designing a critical air-conditioning system that was designed in Canberra and has been deployed world-wide at present.
What sets LJ AIR apart from competitors
Unfortunately over the past decade – the environmental minister allowed a new change of license that allowed Electrical tradesmen and Plumbing Tradesmen to supply and install air-conditioning systems – after sitting only a 4-week course rather than a 4 year apprenticeship in HVAC.
This has led to a huge growth of competition with many electrical and plumbing companies now advertising Air-conditioning and Heating in their business structure.
We have found that with this growth, comes a majority of these systems being installed incorrectly or reduced efficiency in a systems performance due to improper design.
Our motto is that air-conditioning, and heating units be respected, as it provides air quality in what we breathe in each day.
These systems are engineered with over 300 components in each unit and are each critically designed for a required environment.
At LJ AIR, we do not employ any technician of whom sits this course as a month course does not hold any understanding of a units design.
We only employ Certified Cert III licensed technicians who have had successfully completed a 4-year apprenticeship in HVAC, and we pride ourselves on our training structure for our apprentices to undertake within this apprenticeship.
This in turn provides our customers with technicians that understand each component and what that component does, which allows them to understand each installation requirement – so that our systems installed are installed to work to full efficiency and not designed to fail.
